Hi, this is your friend Moira Shepard with this Miracle Minute.
Here is a Chinese proverb:
The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water; but to walk on the earth.
When we decide only something really dramatic – like raising the dead or walking on water – qualifies as a miracle, it’s easy to overlook the everyday miracles around us.
When you see a flaming bright red flower – that’s a miracle. Isn’t it wonderful that you didn’t have to figure out how to make it grow? Others took care of that for you, and you can just enjoy the beauty.
When you’ve been thinking about a beloved friend, and in that moment they call, email, or text you – that’s a miracle. Isn’t it marvelous to connect with your loved one through the “inner-net”?
When you eat a crunchy, delicious apple – that’s a miracle. Isn’t it fabulous that you didn’t have to create the apple out of thin air? You’re free to simply savor the flavor.
Would you like to know how to recognize, accept, and allow miracles right now? Would you like to know how possible it is, how safe it is and how worthy you are to allow miracles to show up in your daily life right now? Would you like to know how miraculous you are, personally, right now?
If so, say “Yes” out loud now* and feel the energy flowing in through the top of your head.
Now, notice how you feel. Notice what’s different about your life in the coming week. And if you give thanks for those changes, it will trigger more miracles.
That’s your Miracle Minute with Moira Shepard. Have a miraculous day!
