I would maintain that being thankful is the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.
The Law of Attraction gurus tell us that an “attitude of gratitude” is the secret to life, love and the pursuit of big bucks.
Yet for many of us, there’s something about gratitude that’s really difficult to pull off:
It’s hard to feel grateful for things we have that we don’t want.
For instance, it can be challenging to feel grateful for living paycheck to paycheck when you’d rather be a millionaire. It can be difficult to give thanks for being single when you’d prefer to be married, or vice versa. It’s tough to feel thankful for war, famine and genocide.
And yet, every condition or situation in your life carries a hidden blessing. Granted, sometimes it’s very heavily disguised. Even so – it’s there.
Choosing to feel grateful for painful situations is more than an indicator that you’re highly advanced on a spiritual level. It also paves the way for peace of mind, prosperity and joy in your day-to-day life.
Would you like to know how and why and what it feels like to feel grateful for every situation in your life, whether positive or negative? Would you like to know the true nature and purpose of gratitude, and what it really does for you? Would you like to know how and why to recognize and appreciate the blessing in every experience you encounter from now on?
If so, say “Yes” out loud now and feel the energy flowing in through the top of your head.
Now, notice how you feel. Notice what’s different about your life in the coming week. And if you give thanks for those changes, it will trigger more miracles.
