Do you notice how much better and even greater you feel after you work out. Before you go to work out your brain may be telling you not to go. But when you don’t listen to that little voice and just go, what a reward you receive. You come out feeling refreshed, renewed and Motivated, really feeling good about yourself.
Motivation is something that feeds on itself. Once you take the first action then you set into motion a cycle for the day. This is the positive cycle that can just naturally Motivate you to great accomplishments.
We are all capable of greatness. Everyone has a God given gift. Maybe you are a good listener, or maybe you have the gift of communication. Possibly you are gifted as a teacher or guide. Your gift may even be to Motivate people. We are given numerous gifts and the more you discover what they are the sooner they will lead you to what your purpose is.
I use to always think that God given gifts were things like being an artist, a singer or a dancer. These are tangible, easily identified and visible gifts. Even if you happen to have one of these “tangible” gifts you still may not know what to do with it.
Discovering your gift/s is the first step. Then becoming aware of what to do with it or them is the ultimate Motivation. Some people know instinctively what they want to do or feel. They know what they were born to do. I am not one of those people. As the years have gone by I’ve ask myself, what is my purpose? I know that there are a great deal of people like me, who have often asked themselves the same question.
What is my purpose? Oprah and Dr. Phil have shows about it. Philosophers write about it. Artist paint it and singer’s sing about it. As the artist formerly known as Prince once said, “Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?”
Today I know that I have been given many gifts and feel blessed to have found them, nurture them and embrace them. They have lead me to discover my purpose – to be of help to other women, letting them know they can have the life of their dreams. Then help them discover it.
In order for me to continue to develop my God given gifts and live my purpose I want to stay Motivated and focused. One of the best ways for me to do that is to re-commit on a daily basis to the simple things that Motivate me.
This really takes me back to the start. When my brain tells me not to go work out – don’t listen. As Nike says “Just do it.” The cycle starts over again. Move and Motivate.
What are your gifts? How do you Motivate?
